Activist Amy Eddy is an environmental extremist with legal views so far to the left that they were even rejected by our Montana Supreme Court. Now she wants a seat on that Court, and if she succeeds, Montana’s Constitution and way of life will be in danger.
Montana’s petroleum industry is a cornerstone of our economy, providing more than 29,000 high-paying jobs and funding critical services, including schools and infrastructure. Oil and gas operations sustain transportation, construction, and small businesses. This industry is not just an economic driver; it is part of who we are.
Activist Amy Eddy’s record proves she would attack our way of life. Her agenda is to shut down oil, gas, coal, timber, and agriculture…destroying thousands of jobs and hollowing out our tax base.
In 2011, Activist Amy Eddy joined a lawsuit demanding the Montana Supreme Court seize control over air quality to fight climate change. Her legal theory would have forced the legislature to pass sweeping carbon regulations and required the Court to enforce them. In other words, she wants unelected judges, not lawmakers, to dictate Montana’s energy policy.
Fortunately, the court rejected Activist Amy Eddy’s extreme attempt, but her willingness to upend our system should alarm every Montanan. If elected, she will target the very industries that keep our communities alive…decimating jobs, crushing small businesses, and raising costs for families.
We must defend our Constitution and protect the livelihoods that come from responsible resource development. The stakes in 2026 are clear. Montana cannot afford radical Activist Amy Eddy on its Supreme Court.
