How bad is CI-128? It gives rapists and human traffickers more control over minor girls in Montana than their parents.

If a minor girl is raped and impregnated by anyone – friend or trafficker – that minor girl could be threatened, coerced or forced into an abortion without parental knowledge, against her will. That is how poorly this initiative is written.

I have yet to speak with anyone who believes that a rapist or human trafficker should be given more control over their victim than is properly the duty of the minor girl’s parents, but that is the consequence of CI-128 – it gives rapists and traffickers virtual control over their victims.

No matter your belief – for or against abortion – I don’t believe anyone who thinks clearly or reasonably would want to potentially destroy the life of a minor girl at the hands of a human trafficker or rapist.

Parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters – please help protect the safety of your family members, especially minor girls, who stand to be victimized should CI-128 become law. Abortion until the viability of the unborn is currently the law in Montana. We don’t need to become a sanctuary state for human traffickers or rapists.
