Step 1: True Legal Immigration Is Controlled and Workable
U.S. immigration law already limits legal immigration.
For FY 2026, about 25,620 green cards per country are available, totaling roughly 366,000 visas nationwide.
That’s not chaos. That’s a system a serious country can manage.

Step 2: Illegal Immigration Is a Separate, Serious Problem
There are an estimated 14 million illegal aliens in the U.S. That’s not theoretical — and yes, Montana is affected. Members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua have already been arrested in Bozeman for drug-related activity.

So much for “it can’t happen here.”

Step 3: America Welcomes Immigrants Who Follow the Law
We are a nation of immigrants (except Native peoples, obviously).

My own ancestors came to Montana in 1883 for homestead land. They worked, contributed, and followed the rules. Today, I personally know legal immigrants here from Canada, Ukraine, Germany, the Philippines, Mexico, and more. They waited, took the classes, and pledged allegiance.

That process matters.

Step 4: Skipping the Line Isn’t Compassion
What doesn’t belong in a lawful system is rewarding those who bypass it — especially with ideas like driver’s licenses or voting access without verified citizenship.

Being here is not a right.
It’s a privilege, earned and defended.

Step 5: Voting Records Matter — Especially in HD 85
Which brings us to House District 85: Kim Dailey vs. Michelle Binkley.

Michelle Binkley voted for HB 402, a bill sold as “election security” that utterly failed to deliver and in fact would empower illegal voting!*

Step 6: Why HB 402 Was a Bad Bill- And how could Binkley vote for this??
HB 402:

Did not require proof of citizenship
Did not stop noncitizens from registering
Relied on a checkbox and post-registration “verification”
Used federal databases that are incomplete and unreliable

Even the state admitted:

“The citizenship status of those voting in Montana’s elections continues to be unverified.”

After the bill. After the process. Nothing changed.

Step 7: Excuses Instead of Results
Rather than admit failure, defenders blamed courts, critics, federal law, and anything else handy — while avoiding the obvious truth: the bill never could do what voters were promised.

HB 402 secured nothing. It verified nothing. It fixed nothing. Michelle Binkley voted for it.

Step 8: The Choice Is Clear
Michelle Binkley voted for HB 402. That vote tells you exactly how she governs.

A vote for Kim Dailey is a vote for real election integrity, respect for legal immigrants who have paid their dues, and laws that actually work.
