Montana Is Always Just A Few Political Dandelions Away From Potential Collapse

There are a few great truths in life: the sun will rise in the east, Missoula traffic will always be terrible, and liberals, like weeds in your driveway, will never, ever go away. Spray them, pull them, torch them with rhetorical Roundup—give it a season, and there they are again, sprouting defiantly between the cracks, waving their moronic slogan posters like crabgrass in the wind.

And so it goes with the battle for a constitutional, republican, conservative Montana. Victory is never final, my friends—it’s just a temporary ceasefire while the other side regroups, in secretive meetings or in their academic faculty lounges, sipping oat-milk lattes and scheming up new ways to regulate your lawnmower.

Yes, we can celebrate now. Donald Trump is doing his thing on the national stage. But before you hang up your MAGA cap and drift into a political nap, remember this: 2028 will arrive sooner than your next property tax bill, and the weeds will be back, fresher than ever, pumped up with fertilizer from the left and Montana Uniparty misguided middlings.  Here at home in YOUR LOCAL COUNTY, Montana’s 2026 races will be trench warfare. Do not for one second believe you can sit on your laurels—laurels, after all, make very poor foxhole camouflage.

We must march on, eternally vigilant. “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty” is often ascribed to Thomas Jefferson. The message is clear: freedom is a fragile, temperamental diva who demands constant attention. Ignore her for a weekend, and she runs off with the first socialist who promises her “free healthcare.”

So sharpen your rhetoric, tighten your boots, and keep your standards high and your battle standards higher. Because the minute we relax—bam!—the weeds are back, trying to turn Montana into a socialist hellhole.Remember: eternal vigilance is the price of freedom. And given inflation, you should probably budget for at least a lifetime subscription.
