A Plan And Vision For The Future

Politics is often messy, negative, and reactive. I wanted to reveal a positive template that has vision and hope for the future of Montana, which, knowing Montana, I know we can achieve!

A great Montana future will not happen by accident. You don’t stumble into greatness any more than you accidentally ride a horse into the sunset looking like a movie star. Success requires a plan, preparation, perseverance — and perhaps a little less arguing over who left the gate open.

1. Define the Right Goal: Know Where We Are Going
   The first step is deciding what kind of Montana we want to build. A Foundation Stone must be Conservative Constitutional Government. A state of opportunity? A place where families can afford to live, businesses can thrive, communities remain strong, and our traditions are preserved?

A cowboy who doesn’t know where he is riding will spend all day in the saddle and still end up lost. Montana needs a clear destination — not just a faster horse going in circles.

2. Education and Preparation: Build the People Who Build the Future
   A prosperous Montana requires prepared citizens. That means excellent schools, skilled workers, strong trades, innovation, and the wisdom to learn from history, not repeat the mistakes of socialism, communism and other failed systems.

The future belongs to those who are ready for it. As the old saying goes, “The best time to fix the fence is before the cows discover the hole.”

Preparation today creates prosperity tomorrow.

3. Good Health: Strong People Build Strong Communities
   A healthy Montana is one where families, communities, and individuals have the strength to pursue their dreams.

Health is not just about medicine — it is about the energy, discipline, and responsibility needed to live productive lives. A tired, and discouraged society cannot build anything lasting. We must provide the hope and vision for the future, with a positive mental attitude that comes from faith and hope.

Even a Montana grizzly knows: you need strength before you climb the mountain.

4. Drive and Energy: Dreams Require Action
   Ideas are easy. Everyone has ideas — some better than others, and some that should probably have been left on a napkin at the diner.

The difference between wishing and achieving is effort. Montana’s future will belong to people willing to work, innovate, serve, and actually do something besides complain about the weather.
Electing Conservative leaders who will dare to tell us the hard truths, and motivating us to higher purposes and embracing the challenges will win the day.

And in Montana, complaining about the weather is already a full-time occupation.

5. Resourcefulness: Solve Problems Like Montanans
   Challenges will come. They always do.

Montana was built by people who fixed wagons, crossed mountains, survived winters, and figured things out with whatever was available.

We need leaders and citizens who demonstrate, “How to solve this” rather than how do we tax and spend to create a cycle of dependence.

A resourceful Montana does not wait for someone else to bring the tools — we build our own.

6. Perseverance: Never Quit Building
   Every worthwhile achievement has setbacks. Roads have potholes. Rivers have rapids. Politics has… well, politics.

Success belongs to those who keep moving forward when things get difficult. Montana’s greatest moments came because people refused to quit.

The pioneers didn’t come here because it was easy. They came because they believed something better could be built.

7. Dependence on God: Remember the Source of Our Blessings
   Finally, Montana’s future must recognize that human effort alone is not enough.

We can work, plan, build, and strive — but humility reminds us that wisdom, purpose, and blessing come from something greater than ourselves. The Bible is not just an irrelevant book for Children’s stories. It is a blue print for our success!

A Montana built on faith, responsibility, service, and gratitude will remain a place where freedom and opportunity can flourish.

The future of Montana will not be created by spectators. It will be built by people with a goal, a plan, courage, perseverance, and faith. People like you!

We are not just preserving a state.

We are building the next chapter of a great story.

And thankfully, unlike some places, we still have plenty of wide-open space — which means there is room for big dreams, big ideas, and a prosperous people.
