It Is Not Just Physical – Its Spiritual

A whole crop of young Americans bought the deluxe liberal starter kit: “Equality for all! Justice forever! Free hugs and optional unicorn parking!” It is a terrific media generated commercial.

Then the invoice arrived.

Suddenly a few of them are peering at the fine print like, “Hang on… this utopia looks a lot like permanent debt, selective outrage, and rules that apply mainly to the peasants.” Turns out “fundamentally transforming everything” sometimes includes your paycheck, your speech, and your ability to question the brochure.

Meanwhile, the same political lifers who helped turn the economy into a ponzi pyramid scheme and public discourse into a food fight keep popping up to say, “Trust us.” Trust them? That’s like hiring the arsonist as fire chief because he’s very experienced with flames. What began as “public service” somehow evolved into a lifetime VIP pass—motorcades, private flights, climate lectures delivered from 30,000 feet—while the rest of us are encouraged to bike uphill in January for the planet. The hypocrisy isn’t subtle; it’s performance art.

But here’s the plot twist: more twenty-somethings are waking up. They’ve looked around and realized we’re in a full-contact debate over what this country is supposed to be. And instead of rage-posting or blocking the highway by laying down on it, some are saying, “Maybe this unique, imperfect, freedom-obsessed experiment called AMERICA is worth defending.”

Here in Montana, we’ve got a truckload of young, faith-minded conservatives in their twenties running for office or for reelection. They’re not ancient relics clinging to rotary phones; they’re articulate, energetic, and profoundly optimistic. Spend ten minutes with them and you might rediscover something unfashionable: hope. I find great renewal within myself by associating with them, and I encourage that you do the same! They have a Constitutional Conservative Republican Fire in their Belly!

For any of us who are Bible loving, church-going Americans, staying quiet right now feels about as realistic as suppressing a sneeze in the middle of a silent prayer. Believing the Ten Commandments are more than decorative wall art—and that Judeo-Christian principles shaped the country—now gets you labeled like you are some type of “Nazi”. Schools are ideological battlegrounds, traditional beliefs are treated like hazardous materials, and “tolerance” occasionally translates to “agree enthusiastically or else” no matter how bizarre or freakish the ideas or agenda are.

Under all the noise is the real question: Do our rights come from God—or from whichever liberal back room think tank last updated the policy manual? Is the Constitution a guardrail that limits power, or a quaint museum piece we dust off now and then? Are we drifting toward a borderless, algorithm-managed, carbon-neutral technocracy… or are we going to keep this messy, Bible-quoting, free-speech-loving republic going a little longer?

Those who still favor faith, freedom, and limited government aren’t whispering anymore. We are waving our arms and shouting, “This isn’t a rehearsal.” We’re asking neighbors to engage, vote, mentor, run, speak—do something besides lay on the couch and hope history sorts itself out.

The stakes are indeed enormous. Not just political—spiritual. Scripture speaks of separating sheep from goats, wheat from tares. Many believe the deeper battle isn’t merely ballots and budgets, but ideas and souls—forces seen and unseen in the spiritual realm competing for allegiance.

So yes, grab a coffee. Say a prayer. Grow a spine.
