How this journey starts

Let’s start with the obvious: Communism has failed everywhere it’s been tried. From the Soviet Union’s breadlines to Venezuela’s toilet paper crisis, from North Korea’s “mandatory happiness” camps to East Germany’s charming wall-based border policy, the track record isn’t just bad — it’s the Oakland Raiders of ideologies. Always promising glory. Always delivering a flaming dumpster fire.
The fruits of communism? Human misery, poverty, starvation, and state-approved everything — including how many potatoes you’re allowed this month and what shade of gray your government-issued pants must be. It is a cult of control, a culture of death, and above all: the religion is that THE STATE IS GOD. Bow to it or disappear in the night. That’s the deal.
Now, you’d think after 100+ million deaths and zero working examples, we’d all get the hint: maybe, just maybe, this isn’t the winning formula. But no. There’s always some wide-eyed activist with a Che Guevara T-shirt (who’s never read a book) insisting, “But real communism hasn’t been tried!”
Spoiler alert: It has. By everyone. It just hasn’t worked because, well… people don’t like being enslaved to bureaucrats in matching jumpsuits who think a “five-year plan” is a good idea.
Now here’s the kicker — if communism is a catastrophe at full volume, why would we want to flirt with it at half-volume? Why even start and even take a single step towards it? Socialism is just Communism’s friendly first date. It brings you flowers, pays for dinner, then nationalizes your industry and starts rationing eggs. It’s the “gateway drug” of tyranny — and it’s being pushed hard by the modern Democrat Party and so called “Big Tenters” aka RINOS who believe that cooperating with these crazy Democrats is somehow “enlightened”.
Make no mistake: the Democrats are not your grandma’s party of blue-collar work and union pride. They are the party of Big State, Big Rules, Big Lies, and yes, Big Tent — but that tent is full of Marxist termites. Progressives? They’re just communists with better PR teams.
And don’t get me started on the “moderate RINOs” here in Montana, who act like the designated drivers at a party they secretly planned. They’ll tell you we need “compromise” with this nonsense, and “room for everyone” — but in practice, it’s just a mediocre surrender, wrapped in self-righteous rhetoric.
Here in Montana, we don’t need that mess. We fish. We ranch. We mine. We log. We raise families, shoot straight, and like our freedom un-messed with. Don’t fall for the siren song of “just a little more government.” There is NOTHING — I repeat, NOTHING — that a Democrat, RINO, or a “government-knows-best” progressive can “give” you, that they don’t first take from you. Usually with interest, and with bureaucratic overhead.
So, let’s not even take one step down the yellow brick road to communism-lite. Because spoiler: It doesn’t lead to Oz. It leads to oppression, poverty, and a bureaucrat named Gary telling you you’ve exceeded your cheese quota for the month. Montana’s smarter than that. Keep your boots on solid ground. And vote like your freedom depends on it in the primaries in 2026— because it does!
