Montana, more than any other place I’ve visited, has a strong preference for people who are from their home state. This preference extends to friendships, business relationships, what products to purchase, and most importantly this election cycle, who will represent them in the legislature. House District 83 is blessed with a lifelong resident of East Helena who has stepped up to take on this challenging task: Wes Feist.
Wes has been a community staple in Lewis and Clark County for many years. From helping Montana students to obtain loans so they could afford to attend college and internships and research grants so they could succeed after college, to helping develop Montana’s workforce as a part of the Department of Labor and Industry, to serving as a member of the East Helena City Council, Wes has worked hard to give the best opportunities for success to Montanans and demonstrated a proven heart for service to his community. Throughout his career, Wes has shown he understands the needs of businesses and workers and what it takes to grow a successful economy that works for everyone.
Wes’ experience in government has also granted him an intricate knowledge its shortcomings. Every Montanan bears the brunt of years of bad policies which have negatively impacted the healthcare, childcare, educational, and job opportunities afforded to the citizens of our state. Wes has witnessed the role government has played in creating these policies, but is also well positioned with a strong background to reform these bad policies.
