Congressman Matt Rosendale has withdrawn from the approaching GOP primary for the U.S. Senate race in Montana.

You can read about the political facts behind the development in our recent article here.

In short, the GOP Establishment political machine run by Senator Mitch McConnell in Washington got its way, and will likely lead to a loss in the general election.

Rosendale received standing ovations from the grassroots at local events -- his competitor, Tim Sheehy, not so much.

Yet, Sheehy had the billionaire's billions behind him.

In a tragic decision, in line with Trump's horrendous personnel decisions of the past, 45 endorsed Sheehy. This has caused a lot of dark feelings towards Trump in Montana.

Maybe there was some good reason for it, maybe there were favors given in back rooms, maybe not.

Maybe Trump just made a crappy decision; it wouldn't be the first time.

Sheehy is picked by McConnell thru Senator Daines to make sure Sheehy is compliant to the Establishment. Daines is funding a lot of Sheehy's efforts using PAC means.

I am a MAGA supporter. I am a Trump supporter.

However, we at CDM/The Montana Sentinel made a decision a long time ago to report the truth, no matter where it lands.

And on this issue, the truth is Trump betrayed MAGA in Montana. Sheehy will not stand up for the grassroots in Washington.

We are told, Trump Jr. is buddies with Zinke, Zinke is buddies with Sheehy, and Sheehy's business was funded by a Dept of Interior grant signed off on by Zinke when he was Secretary of the Interior.

Another player in the game is Aaron Flint of Montana Talks radio. He is complicit with Zinke and the horsemen. Flint is a combat vet who is infatuated with vets to the point of having no critical eye.

This decision will have long-lasting negative effects for the GOP, for MAGA, and for the nation. It doesn't bode well for the second Trump term -- he's still making bad personnel decisions, which seriously harmed the first term.

This decision will also cause many MAGA diehards to question Trump's real intentions for the nation.

Rosendale took massive political risk and stood up for MAGA in the House against McCarthy (who Trump also pushed) and in the end, Rosendale was betrayed.

Why would any other patriot stand up for the nation in the future when he now knows Trump will stab him in the back?

    Unfortunate, to say the least.

Yea bad decisions like operation "warped" speed.

    morton

Don't be a shill for the vile left. He made bad personnel decisions, including Fauci and Brix. Can't know then what was only known later.

    JPrater

They were recommended to him. Little did he know the democrat criminal machine was behind itl

Its not that he developed the vaccine! The problem started when the government required citizens to take the vaccine or loose their job. That my friend is totally Biden's fault. Trump would NEVER require you to take the vaccine. It was a choice!

    Serena

not sure that is "truth" I read nothing but your opinion and you are intitled to it. I for one disagee with you.

Go interview him and find out, while I completly accept your thought processes, best to gain more information when possible. I, as you are solidly behind Trump, and as you, wince when this happens, Sheehy needs to have a come to jesus meeting with a power interviewer - This site is one of the best.

Should have been the inverse, Sheehy needed to step down and Mr. Rosendale take the reins. Outspoken and uncompromising Mr. Rosendale would have hastened the end of McConnell’s reign. It seems we cannot depend on KY to remove him.

Excuse me for swapping in a thought about CT, just saying, without concrete proof, truly just my opinion Mr.Wood, it seems President Trump contraindicated the CT Senate race 2022. Themis Klarides, policy-wise a middle of the road Repub candidate who had the best chance of beating Blumenthal between our three primary candidates, until President Trump endorsed the long shot.
    Asking your thoughts Mr.Wood?

Trump allowed the economy to tank on HIS watch with the lockdowns. He pushed the injections which have killed millions; injured and will kill millions more. He had advisors telling him not to do the things he did. He’s a business man and he knew and knows when you keep a business from opening its doors, the business dies. And no one, but no one should ever allow untried, untested drugs on the market for any reason. Not to mention one does not vaccinate during an illness or epidemic. You don’t.

    Amy Williams

Yes, he makes these bad choices(he knows what he’s doing)-and then he never apologizes or explains himself! Going on 4 years, he still hasn’t explained why he locked down, pushed vaccines(Jared influence?), supports Lindsay Graham, and also why he didn’t “march to the Capitol” with the J6ers- yes, he said, “I will be with you”! Well, Trump, we the people would like to know?

DJT is controlled opposition. To me, its pretty obvious.

    Peaches

    I agree with you 100%!

If Congressman Matt Rosendale was a favorite of the grass roots voters, then why did he withdraw from the approaching GOP primary? That makes no sense.

Philip Esformes (cabal member) was arrested in 2016 at his Miami estate and charged with a massive $1.3 billion Medicare and Medicaid fraud scheme that at the time was billed by the U.S. Justice Department as the largest single criminal health care fraud case ever brought. December, 2020, Trump commuted his 20-year sentence.

You or I could be serving time for stealing a measly candy bar and Trump wouldn't give us the time of day.

    Jess

Seems so. He's been pretty silent about the J6 folks, imprisoned in the US gulag.

    Liberty

Has Trump ever supported a true MAGA person?

    RPS

This idea of Trump as savior of America is as big a lie as anything Biden throws out there. Our problems are spiritual, and only the Lord Jesus Christ through His Bride can fix everything wrong with this world.
