It is high time for the unvarnished truth about the MTGOP. These truths may seem impossible or difficult to grasp. Truths that, for some, will expose the rotten underbelly of Montana Republican politics.
As mentioned in previous articles, the Montana Grand Old Party (MTGOP) violated State law and forced every county Republican Central Committee (RCC) to become complicit in their crime by refusing to recognize lawfully conducted conventions.
In the interest of efficiency, I will not recite the evidence that supports this statement, as those details were discussed at length previously. This article will endeavor to expose the results of the violation of the law, consider the possible motives behind such a blatant unlawful action, as well as the possible far-reaching ramifications.
To consider the motives, the current state of the MTGOP and what agenda may be driving their leadership today must be considered. The latest legislative session exposed much of the MTGOP’s agenda through its actions.
The first action taken by the Republican Supermajority that the grassroots sent to Helena was to modify the rules by which business would be conducted. The new rules removed the anticipated abilities of the Supermajority, setting up roadblocks for the Republican-controlled legislative body and special committees.
Then came the legislation. SB503 - sponsored by MTGOP leadership, including the President of the Senate - would have changed county central committees into nothing more than social clubs. HB402 - again sponsored by GOP leadership, this time in the House, would have allowed illegal aliens to vote while their citizenship was pending. Then there is the Special Select Committee on Election Integrity, a topic to which, arguably, more time and resources were dedicated in 2023 than any other. This committee’s recommendations, due to the rules-empowered democrats and the “nothing-to-see-here-We-Won'' republicans, went nowhere. The overall efforts of the 2023 republican supermajority can be summed up in one word: Anti-Grassroots.
What goal could motivate leaders to betray their principals and their dedicated base? The motives are as old as mankind. Power, Hatred and Fear. Fear of losing the power structure political careers have been devoted to creating. Hatred of those who hold the power to destroy the power structure obviously working against them. Of course, the only place this type of power exists in our political system is in We The People. That is who The Enemy Within is focused on destroying. Freedom loving, original intent conscious, rights preserving, heritage and posterity focused, loyal to the core, AMERICANS!
To speak to the ramifications, one must be prepared to consider what once was unthinkable. It should come as no surprise that there is an anti-America First movement fomenting across America today. This effort has unified, creating a new, overt political party correctly labeled “The Uni-Party.” This party, consisting of leaders from both sides of the aisle, lives by a “The ends justify the means” mentality. The “ends” spoken of here are the preservation of the status quo, I.E., “the power structure,” the money source, and the generational wealth creating a corrupt political system. A system constructed over generations. A system that those who benefit, at our expense, will protect at all costs.
What does this have to do with the MTGOP? Due to the illegal elections held by the leaders of the MTGOP (a Montana PAC), ALL actions taken while this PAC is operating in violation of the law can legitimately be declared null and void. The MTGOP PAC is operating FRAUDULENTLY. Fraud vitiates everything.
The recent efforts in Colorado, now being pursued in multiple other states, to remove Donald J. Trump (DJT) from the Presidential ballot in the name of “Democracy” may well come to fruition in Montana due to the efforts of the MTGOP PAC. The Uniparty has one goal: To prevent DJT from receiving the required number of votes at the electoral college. Every vote counts!
Everyone should be familiar with the term “October Surprise”. This is an action initiated late in the election process designed to derail a particular campaign. Consider the leadership of both leading political parties having the same goal: defeating DJT. Should this be the October Surprise, the MTGOP will play the victim: the Democrats, the victor.
Much consideration has been given to the implications for all other races in the 2024 cycle. The U.S. Senate, the U.S. House, and all State races from the Senate on down. No viable conclusions can be reached at this point. Possibilities range from Republicans in every race being affected to only those who received MTGOP PAC funds.
There is a solution that would defuse this time bomb. That would be for the majority of Republican Central Committees to vote to hold another State Leadership convention. All RCCs have now held their conventions to elect new leadership prior to the State party convention as mandated by law. The Central Committees have the authority to send their new leadership to the State convention to elect new MTGOP PAC leadership. With the correct vote, they could remove the republican arm of the Uniparty currently in Montana politics.
Our State is at a watershed moment. Do the members of the Republican Central Committees have the courage to do what is required to preserve our Republic? If not, tyranny will have established a foothold that will require much bolder actions to remove.
